Jahan Naghshin, M.D., M.Sc., F.C.C.P.
Dr. Naghshin attended medical school at Isfahan University of Medical Sciences in Iran. He completed a Masters Degree in Pulmonary Medicine at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. Subsequently, Dr. Naghshin finished an Internal Medicine internship and residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He then completed a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) in Pittsburgh PA and then an additional Sleep Medicine fellowship at the same University. He has first authored multiple peer-reviewed publications, a chapter in Sleep Medicine Clinic, and has given multiple presentations at both American Thoracic Society (ATS) and Sleep (APSS) conferences.
Dr. Naghshin is quadruple board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Naghshin is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and holds active memberships in the American Thoracic Society, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and the Virginia Medical Society. He is the current director of Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Inova Loudoun Hospital. Dr. Naghshin has been honored by the Washingtonian Magazine, and Northern Virginia Magazine as a Top Doctor in 2018.
Dr. Naghshin has a special interest in treatment of patients with severe Asthma, COPD, interstitial lung diseases, lung tumors/cancers, as well as complicated cases of Sleep Apnea.
Dr. Naghshin is fluent in both English and Farsi. He is happily married and has a son.
